BLACK HISTORY NOW AWARDS
The Story
The Black History Now Awards honored the educators who fought (and taught) against the resistance to educate children about America’s true history.
My role in this annual production was as Post Supervisor. I recruited motion designer Zi Wang and editor Laila Iravani, ensuring their talents were timed and paired well for the show's vibrant vision.

The Story
Color of Change put on four Children’s Carnivals in Oakland, Houston, Miami, and Philly. I was on the ground at the Miami activation guiding the production crew, capturing interviews for social, and volunteering across a breadth of roles. The experience from being on the ground helped me remotely guide the other production crews on interviews, b-roll and other content capture in the other cities.
