He talks being his authentic self in hip-hop, something that’s more settled today, but was harshly ridiculed at the time.

Petie Parker runs his passions parallel to each other: web designing by day, fashion designer by day as well. He brands himself a true webslinger in that regard, and even shares a few key character beats as Peter Parker. This Queens native turned Atlanta artist, visited NYC to truly show anyone can wear the mask (and make 50+ more in their own style).

SNAPCHAT STORYTELLING

The Story

I spent a weekend in Sherborn, MA, where I immersed myself in the world of professional Snapchat creators. Short-form, social content was resonating with audiences and the Snap Inc’s creator tools were still basic.

Despite simple filters, text, and paint tools, these Snapchat pros were stretching the limits of the platform and pioneering the creativity in the vertical video content we see today.

The Story

Breaking Snapchat barriers is Mike Platco, a vertical storyteller. Even with a 10-sec limit, Platco re-imagined Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and Stranger Things with skill, and I witnessed his artistry on the latter firsthand.
